REMEMBERING YOU

Sitting in my lonely room

  My heart sunk in an ocean of gloom

I think of the days I spent with you

 “Days” I say,yet they seem so few…..

Born I was in front of you

 Crying,stepped into this  world so new

You held me in your arms

 And took me into your unspeakable charms

Dear Aja,how can I ever forget

 That concerned look in your eyes

Whenever  we fell ill

 Or had a temperature wee-bit high

Closing my eye

 Through the memory lane,I pave my way

A smile spreads and I feel

Utterly happy and gay

As the eyes open leading me back to now

 An unanswerable question

Shadows me-“How?”

Aja,to think you would always be with us

 Was innate

But time……yes time,had a different

 Tale to narrate

You belong to His world today

 And yes we accept,we have no say

Yet in some way its inconceivable

 To make a world without

A person,so adorable

We miss you so much

 Its difficult to put into words

No one can occupy your place

 In our hearts……..

We love you!
