I saw a painting today.It  showed a woman with beautiful intense eyes….though there was a smile in her face..the eyes betrayed her sadness……it was so beautiful…and in an impromptu move I penned this poetry…..

At times all of us must have gone through  pangs of pain in love……love of all forms….and this is my rendition of one  such pain…..

The song of the melancholy heart………….

Loneliness , emptiness

The melancholy song

Of my heart……

Does it reach you , My Love?

Desperation , restlessness

The strings of my heart

Torn apart…….

Dreams , nightmares

Tearful eyes in my waking life….

Cheeks hurting out of faking

Smiles……

Hopelessness , helplessness

My worlds an abyss

Of grief

Lend me your hand

Open your arms

Let me breathe in your love again……
